About Critical Illness Insurance

Group Critical Illness Insurance & Critical Illness Insurance Benefit Rider

For those with a family history of heart-attack, cancer or stroke, Group Critical Illness Insurance is a way to offer protection for members to be able to visit out-of-network providers, pay for out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles and coinsurance with their comprehensive health insurance plan and to pay for experimental treatments that members might want to participate in. Many optional supplemental UBA Gap Plans include Group Critical Illness or a Critical Illness Insurance benefit as part of the Group Hospital Fixed Indemnity Insurance (depending on plan and state).
